Victoria’s Secret Opens a New Store in Warsaw

American lingerie brand, Victoria’s Secret, opened its first Polish store with a full array of products. The opening attracted thousands of fans, fashionistas, bloggers, and journalists, who lined up to see what the world-famous company has to offer to Polish customers. The store is located in Warsaw, at the Arkadia mall, and occupies 1200 square meters of store space.

The brand has been building its presence in Poland for a few years. It has already opened two stores in Warsaw, but their offer was very limited. Customers could only purchase cosmetics, accessories, perfumes, and just a few undergarment items over there. Those craving the glamorous lingerie sets the brand is famous for had to wait until the brand decided to expand its operations in Poland.

The newly opened outlet features everything VS has to offer. These include such collections as Body By Victoria, Dream Angels, Bombshell and Very Sexy, as well as the PINK line for younger women and the Victoria Sport label. Patrons can also purchase sleepwear, body care items, bags, fragrance mists or even keychains.

Victoria’s Secret was founded in 1977 in San Francisco, California. Today, it has over 1,000 stores across the globe. It is also famous for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show featuring Victoria’s Secret Angels, among which there are such supermodels as Adriana Lima, Alessandria Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, and Josephine Skriver.

However, Victoria’s Secret is not the only big American brand that took interest in Poland this year. Earlier this week Papa John’s International Inc., owner of Papa John’s Pizza chain, announced its plans to enter the Polish restaurant market. The brand is already present in 30 countries in the world, including several European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Spain. The company also plans to expand to Kazakhstan (16 restaurants) and Kyrgyzstan (six restaurants). In the upcoming five years, Poland is to become home to 23 Papa John’s restaurants.
