It’s Worth It To Be A Part of Investors In Poland

Foreign companies that conduct business activities of investors in Poland earned 18.8 billion euros last year. It was the biggest income in history, generated by investors who had created their enterprises from scratch or had taken over companies or banks existing here. In the last four quarters, the income grew by an additional 140 million.

Each 100 euros invested made a profit of 8.4 euros. In absolute terms, this result is close to Sweden, even though over there the rate of return is 5 percent lower (due to bigger assets engaged).

Earned money is being transferred abroad only partially. A substantial amount, i.e. 8 billion euros, was spent in Poland on new investors in Poland. It is a sign of trust in our economy and a clear message that profitability in Poland exceeds the one achievable in the home country of a foreign company.

The biggest profits from investment are obtained in the Czech Republic, we take the second place in terms of the proportion of reinvested income to be generally engaged by foreign direct investors. The only country surpassing us is Croatia.
